• Dynamic QR Codes: Generate QR codes that can be updated after creation

3.1 Registration

To access registered user features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Upon deletion:

• All your data will be permanently removed
• Your shortened URLs and QR codes will stop working
• This action cannot be undone

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 You agree NOT to use our Service to:

• Link to illegal content or activities
• Distribute malware, viruses, or phishing content
• Link to adult or sexually explicit content
• Create spam or bulk URLs for unsolicited purposes
• Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property
• Spread hate speech, harassment, or defamatory content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Interfere with or disrupt our Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

4.2 Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, report illegal activities to appropriate authorities, and take legal action if necessary.

Our enforcement approach is case-by-case, typically following this process: (1) Notification of the issue, (2) Warning with a request to remedy, (3) Content removal and/or account suspension. However, we reserve the right to skip any steps for severe violations.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content created by us, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

You retain ownership of the URLs and content you create using our Service. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data to provide the Service, display click statistics and analytics, and redirect visitors to your destination URLs.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

We are not responsible for content linked to through shortened URLs, third-party websites or services, or any damages resulting from your use of the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless defrust.com, its operator, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or content you create or share through the Service.

10. Third-Party Services

Our Service relies on third-party providers including:

• Vercel: Hosting and deployment
• Supabase: Database and authentication
• Cloudflare: DNS and security
• Resend: Email delivery

Your use of our Service is also subject to the terms of these providers. We are not responsible for the availability or actions of third-party services.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Service, change features, functionality, or pricing, and impose limits on certain features or access. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

When we do, the "Last Updated" date will be revised, notification will be posted on our website, and registered users will receive email notification for significant changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
