Drift Privacy Policy

Drift is a subscription tracker made by defrust. It is built to be private by default. In plain terms: Drift stores your information on your device, and the developer does not collect, see, or receive it. The App Store privacy label for Drift reads Data Not Collected.

What we collect

Nothing on our servers. defrust does not run analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and does not operate a server that receives your Drift data. Drift has no accounts and no login, so there is nothing for us to store about you.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter in Drift — your subscriptions, prices, categories, and notes — is stored locally on your device. If you choose to turn on iCloud sync, that data is stored in your own private iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit private database) and is end-to-end encrypted by Apple. The developer cannot read it. iCloud sync is optional and controlled by you.

Purchases

Drift offers a single one-time in-app purchase, Drift Pro. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. defrust never sees or receives your payment information.

No tracking

Drift contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising networks, no analytics, and no tracking scripts. It does not connect to your bank, does not read your email or messages, and does not track you across other apps.

Links to other services

Drift's cancel guide may open a service's own website so you can cancel a subscription there. Once you leave Drift, that service's own privacy policy applies. defrust is not affiliated with those services.

Children

Drift is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Because Drift collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Because Drift does not collect data, changes are expected to be rare.
