Open Settings inside Plait and tap Restore a previous purchase. Make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you bought it with. Pro is a one-time purchase, so restoring never costs anything.
Sign in to the same iCloud account and your people, moments and reminders will sync down on their own. Then restore Pro from Settings as above. Nothing needs to be exported or imported by hand.
Check the bell on the Reminders tab, or Settings inside Plait, and make sure the switch is on. If iOS itself has notifications turned off for Plait, the app will say so and offer to open Settings. Note that a reminder whose day has already passed never notifies — it simply waits in the list.
Settings → Export your data. You'll get a vCard of your people and CSV files of everything else, free, whether or not you have Pro. The files are built on your phone and handed straight to the share sheet.
Write to me. Plait is made by one person, so replies aren't instant, but every message is read.
